We have a love story that is so incredible that it can only have been put together by our Creator. In fact, it is because of His amazing love for us and the power of Christ’s redemption, that we get to walk out the rest of our years on this earth, together, after experiencing entirely separate journeys for over 30 years! Our goal now, is to let the love of our Father shine through us and point others to Him no matter where we are or what we are doing.

It was almost 37 years ago, in 1982, that our paths crossed for the first time.  Dana had been pastoring a group of new believers in the Sierras, but needed to return to Alaska to finish up his Bible School classes. Gail  had been visiting her parents in the Sierras, but was returning to LA, so Dana caught a ride with her to catch a flight to Alaska.  Dana had a captive audience for five hours in that car, and used the opportunity to preach the gospel to Gail, from Genesis to Revelation.  Gail gave her life to Jesus that night, and was radically changed by God from that moment.

The next summer brought Dana and Gail back to the Sierras again, and after considering the possibility of marriage, decided that it was not in their future.  Dana introduced Gail to his worship leader and the following summer, they were married.  Dana also got married and spent twenty years with Nancy until she succumbed to cancer in 2004.  After twenty eight years and seven children, Gail’s husband chose marital unfaithfulness and divorce, bringing an end to their marriage in 2012.

In the spring of 2013, God directed our paths to cross again and this time, marriage was in our future and we were wed that summer.  God brought redemption to both of our lives, through each other, because of His sweet and tender mercies!

Our life adventure together has now taken us to Thailand where we are linking arms with others to share the hope and love of the gospel. Our home is in Samut Prakan on the southern outskirts of Bangkok. Our days are filled with language study as well as simply establishing friendships and relationships within our community. We are also working alongside other organizations to support them in their various ministry efforts.
